Our initial marketplace product was launched as an MVP back in 2014 & was the entry point for our business in the sector as we built out the management team & learnt what we were doing from a tech perspective.
A pure marketplace platform which enabled multiple vendors to sell to multiple buyers. In this case, the vendors & buyers were wholesalers who used the platform to trade bulk volumes of drinks. We did not set the price, we did not take title of the stock, we simply provided the technology platform & then outsourced the logistics to a 3PL once the order was processed. Sainsbury’s also started selling their own label products in bulk as a new route to market through this platform in 2019.
Following the announcement of the UK entering lockdown on 23rd March 2020, we reviewed our resources & platforms to see how we could help – the question we posed ourselves was “how could we help the pubs keep trading in a new & digitally enabled fashion”….mypubshop.com (MPS) was “born”! We scoped, designed & built MPS in 7 days & launched on 1st April 2020 backed with a press release from FSC & relying on our supporting partners building their own PR linking to MPS. We launched it as the first “pub shop” concept as a “not for profit” operation in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic in supporting trade with any additional revenues being donated to the NHS.
Additionally, our partners drove traffic to the site in various manners – edm, social & features on their own platforms.

Having developed out our own technology for our marketplace platforms, we were approached by a number of brewers & pub groups to create a bespoke platform for their customers – Our SaaS product was born.
Alongside various smaller SaaS clients including micro-breweries, we are now proud to be working with one of the largest pub groups in the hospitality sector. The Admiral licensee platform launches in Jan 2021 & is fully integrated into their ERP / logistics solution.
This opportunity has arisen from our on-going conversations with Asda & their need for a rapid response to a Covid-19 opportunity. With there being a shortage in “home delivery” slots with all the grocers in the UK to fulfil demand, Asda launched a Grocery Box to be fulfilled outside of their own supply chain delivered by a major national delivery company – this enabled them to increase supply / revenues without distressing their in-house home delivery supply chain.
